OurQueens: Of what significance is winning this competition to you?

Tarere: To me winning the Best Model Nigeria competition is of utmost significance. Best Model Nigeria is an opportunity of a life time; a chance to represent Nigeria and showcase our culture and potentials to the world, that means i'll be given the chance to be an Ambassador, a window into the rich and diverse fashion industry here in Nigeria. It is definitely of life changing significance

What sports do you play if any?

I'm an artist, I dream Art, I live Art, in its various forms; applied and visual, so asides from writing and singing as my talents, I act, draw and I can dance.

What other talents do you possess?

My family and friends have been a chest of treasures. The minute any of them sees or hears about a fashion show or pageantry, any at all, they call me, "Ah, Rei have you heard... ? ", or " Rei, I saw a fashion show... ", sometimes its even aggressive, "Rei, I've bought a form, the audition is ...". I'm grateful to them, in fact my partaking in this awesome event is because of them, they have been a great support to me.

In what ways have family and friends been supportive of your modeling career?

That would be my eyes, its my key accessory. Sometimes I dress casual, and just focus on making my eyes stand out and that does the magic. Some say its enchanting, some say its large (by the way all Disney Princesses have large enchanting eyes), well I love my eyes because I think my eyes are large enough to say and reflect what I feel. Yes, my eyes are definitely my favourite physical feature.

Your favorite physical feature?

Hmm, its been a while, probably some months back. The argument was on the issue of rape between husband and wife, in that situation I won the argument, however its sad that within the Nigerian law that argument is still struggling to be heard. I believe every human being has a fundamental right to freedom of choice, and marriage should not deprive anyone of that God given right. Well, that was my stance in the last argument I was in, and it is still my stance. My last argument was some months back.
