Miss African Spirit Contestants:

From Uganda...

Clare Abuneri

Profession/ Education: Studying Media / Teaching

UGPulse.com asked the contestants 3 questions...

With the state of the global economy today, what opportunities are out there for African nations and how do you think they should grab and take advantage of those opportunities?

Africa needs to show the world that they can be at peace. Africa has so much to offer. The economy will increase when the governments start to help local people start and maintain local businesses and introduce more self-employment projects that the people in Uganda and all regions of Africa can access. Small businesses are like stepping stones to International rapport... both financially and to keep Africa in tomorrow's world. We must open our minds despite our cultural differences and colour, to expand our economic growth in areas such as tourism, agriculture, education and social welfare of all Africans.

What is the African Spirit... How do you live it?... How do you share it?

African spirit means first of all the spirit to love God... our creator, and African spirit means the chosen people of God. We must love each other and strive for betterment.

Are you beautiful? Can you share your beauty secret to your fellow African sisters?

No bleach! Love what you have and keep everything simple. x
