UGPulse.com asked the contestants 3 questions...
With the state of the global economy today, what opportunities are out there for African nations and how do you think they should grab and take advantage of those opportunities?
The world is a global village and Africa is filled with natural resources such as minerals, raw materials and fertile agricultural land. African nations have the opportunity to serve the rest world as the bread basket.
Africa is a frontier market (a frontier market is a region with unexplored market potential) with services like clean water, electricity, mobile networks and internet (just to name a few) needed by Africa to catch up in this global village. This presents investment opportunities for the rest of the world and empowerment and employment for Africa. These opportunities can be acquired by educating and uniting the people of Africa.
What is the African Spirit... How do you live it?... How do you share it?
The African Spirit is the thought, the will and the feeling of being part of Africa. I live the African spirit by being myself and showing the passion for my continent to other people. I share the African Spirit by talking about Africa, showcasing African talent by participating in African fashion shows and I also present good African heritage within myself in everyday life.
Are you beautiful? Can you share your beauty secret to your fellow African sisters?
Yes I am beautiful. I have one beauty secret and that is to love and to respect myself.

Gumisai Makombe.
