UGPulse.com asked the contestants 3 questions...
With the state of the global economy today, what opportunities are out there for African nations and how do you think they should grab and take advantage of those opportunities?
African nations supply the world with many commodities such as Oil, Gold, Diamonds, Cocoa, Palm Oil and Timber. I think there are still opportunities for Africans to develop in this world of trade. As more machinery is being imported into Africa, this will give the nations more chances to ensure that the productivity levels stay high, which should lead to a brighter African economy.
What is the African Spirit... How do you live it?... How do you share it?
The African Spirit is the passion and love for Africa. I live with the ‘African Spirit’ day in, day out. At home my family and I speak Swahili... we wear African clothes and have African ornaments all over the house to constantly remind us of where we come from. I share the African Spirit by introducing people to my culture and letting them see what an amazing continent Africa truly is.
Are you beautiful? Can you share your beauty secret to your fellow African sisters?
I strongly believe that everyone is beautiful. I always try to enhance the features that I love about myself and make them stand out. My main beauty secret is to be confident. A confident woman will always stand out from a crowd. Remember beauty doesn’t depend on how much make up you wear or how your hair is styled. Beauty comes from within.

Rahima Ahmed.
